Dit is verpligtend vir Gr. 1 2027 ouer(s) om by drie skole aansoek te doen en om hul voorkeurorde op die stelsel aan te dui.
It is mandatory for Gr 1 2027 parent(s) to apply at three schools and in addition to indicate their order of preference on the system.

GR 1 2027
FASE 1 – OUERAANSOEK / PHASE 1 – PARENT APPLICATION
10 March 2026 | Gr. 1 skooltoelatings oop (alle gewone openbare skole). Gr 1 school admissions open (all ordinary public schools). |
| 14 April 2026 | Gr. 1 skooltoelatings sluit (alle gewone openbare skole). Gr 1 school admissions close (all ordinary public schools). |
10 March 2026 – 14 April 2026 | Ouer(s) moet die vereiste ondersteunende dokumente soos versoek deur die WKOD op die sisteem laai as deel van die WKOD aanlyn aansoek. Lees asseblief die bepalings en voorwaardes op die WKOD webwerf. Op hierdie stadium benodig Laerskool Eversdal geen uitgedrukte dokumente nie.
Parent(s) must upload copies of supporting documents required by the WCED onto the system as part of the WCED online application. Please read the terms and conditions on the WCED website. At this stage Eversdal Primary School does not require any hard copy documents. |
15 April 2026 – 18 May 2026 | Skole verwerk Gr. 1 aansoeke. Schools process Gr 1 applications. |
| WKOD stelsel vertoon die uitslag van alle Gr. 1 aansoeke. Ouer(s) word per e-pos/SMS van die uitslag ingelig deur die WKOD. Indien ‘n aansoek onsuksesvol was in fase 1, kontak die Skole om die aansoek op die heroorweeglys (waglys) te plaas vir die volgende rondte(s).
WCED system displays the outcome of all Gr 1 applications. Parent(s) are informed of the outcome per email/SMS by the WCED. If the application was unsuccessful in phase 1, contact the Schools to add the application to the reconsider list (waiting list) for the next round(s). |
28 May 2026 – 15 June 2026 | Ouer(s) bevestig aanvaarding van Gr. 1 plasings op die WKOD- webwerf. Slegs ouer(s) wat die aanvaarding bevestig, sal versoek word om die gesertifiseerde afskrifte en addisionele dokumente in te handig. Die aansoek is ONVOLLEDIG totdat alle ondersteunende dokumente ingehandig is.
Indien ouers nie teen 15 Junie 2026 aanvaarding bevestig nie, mag skole plekke aan leerders op die heroorweeglys of aan ongeplaaste leerders aanbied. Parent(s) confirm acceptance of Gr 1 placements on the WCED website.
Only parent(s) who confirm their acceptance will be requested to hand in the certified copies and additional documents. Your application is INCOMPLETE until all the relevant supporting documents have been submitted.
If parents do not confirm acceptance by 15 June 2026, schools may offer spaces to learners on the reconsider list or to unplaced learners. |

FASE 2 – SKOOLPLASINGS/PHASE 2 – SCHOOL PLACEMENT

FASE 3 – DISTRIKPLASING/PHASE 3 – DISTRICT PLACEMENT
3 August 2026 until conclusion of admissions | Skole gaan voort om beskikbare plekke te vul. Die WKOD neem ‘n besluit en plaas ongeplaasde leerders in oorleg met die skole. Schools continue to fill available spaces. WCED resolves and places unplaced learners in consultation with schools. |
