Guide for website shortcuts on mobile devices
We strongly encourage our parents to ‘sign up for communication’ on the home page of our website.
This will ensure that you will receive the latest news via email.

INFORMATION REGARDING COMMUNICATION
The following can be found on our website under communication:

To find any other relevant information such as school background, vision & mission, policies, staff, library, Everjas, application, Aftercare, school fees, Headmaster, Governing Body and Trust be sure to consult the info page.
Sport coaches will communicate via email through specific groups (sport code and age group). It is important to check emails regularly and respond to the link that your child should attend. All sport programs will be available on our website under communication.
The weekly Ever Focus will be sent to all parents via email (on Tuesdays). The Ever Focus will also be available on our website under communication.

Every parent is registered on our emailing system. You have to contact Elana la Grange if you do not receive our global email posts.
SMS
SMS-messages will only be sent out if critical information must reach our parents immediately. We do not use texts as the primary means of communication.
EMAIL
Please consult our ‘contact’ page on the website to find all the important email addresses as requested. Parents and teachers communicate via email (primarily).

General “happenings” and photos are posted. Urgent news feeds will also be linked to our page. You can “see and feel” most of what is happening at the school. Parents that repeatedly make negative comments will be removed and blocked. - TWITTER – @EVERSDALPRIMARY

Eversdal Primary only uses FREE platforms to communicate with our parents.
PLEASE KEEP THE FOLLOWING IN MIND:
- We do not use WHATSAPP as a communication strategy. There are some parents who use this as a communication tool.
- Some of the class representatives also use it to communicate during events – often very successful.
- We (as a school) cannot take any responsibility for communication in any WHATSAPP forum.
- There are other Eversdal Primary groups floating around – we cannot take responsibility for the content on them.
- THESE PLATFORMS MAY NOT BE USED BY PARENTS AS A PLATFORM TO COMPLAIN OR DO BUSINESS. Positive remarks are always welcome. We will have to block those users who do not comply. (Some parents have tried to do so already – mostly looking for business opportunities.
- Please do not place your personal information on ANY SOCIAL platforms (not just Eversdal Primary) – it is not a safe practice.
